All Points Blog links to a new service from RoofScanIR: using aerial imagery to find roofs that require attention. From the press release: "The assets are strategically located throughout North America enabling them to provide services anywhere in the US or Canada. “What makes this service unique and useful to those interested in roof thermal data, are the different options with regard to resolution of the imagery and the attractive prices per square foot of roof area…by the acre,” states Greg Stockton, President of SITS. “Recognizing a market with tremendous potential, we decided to aim our products at the marketing departments of those who want to know which roofs in a given area have problems, and which do not”, says Alejandro Tache, the aerial division manager. “We can provide roofing consultants & roof contractors information that they can use to identify potential customers who need their services and give them real ammunition for the initial sales calls” continues Mr. Tache."
