The prolific Vector One blog runs a long discussion with visual examples named “What’s the promise of intelligent 3D models?”. From the conclusion: "The promise of intelligent 3D models is better decisions, saving money and higher levels of understanding.
Finally, I can’t see how more and better 3D intelligent models can be developed without high levels of data quality. Average data and analysis will only provide mediocre, non-useful and non-functional decisions to be made."

[...] The FLEX creates the illusion of a three-dimensional world where people can navigate through cyberspace landscapes with a remote control while easily getting, creating and working with information."
