Trimble Acquires Cadastral/Surveying Service Provider

Trimble has acquired the privately held HHK Datentechnik GmbH of Braunschweig, Germany, a provider of customized office and field software solutions for the cadastral survey market in Germany. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Trimble Navigation has announced a new package of cell phone GPS applications available on 12 GPS enabled Sprint and Nextel phones for $6.99 per month. The GPS Pack includes the AllSport GPS(TM), with applications supporting walking, cycling, running and mountain biking, Geocache Navigator(TM), for geocaching, and Trimble Outdoors(TM) for trip planning and navigation.
