  Pepsi Co spun off the fast food chains they owned into a company called Yum! Brands.

  It was called "Tricon" meaning the three chains: KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut. But currently they also own A&W and Long John Silver's. This all started about 1997.

    Interesting, I was not aware of this as there's been no apparent change; they're still among the few franchises to serve superior Pepsi products.

    A&W Root Beer actually belongs to Dr. Pepper/7Up (formerly of Cadburry Schwepps). So is Hawaiian Punch, incidentally, though it often seems to be bottled and shipped by none other than Pepsi distributors.

      I believe they were talking about A&W Resturants which is owned by Yum! (which was spun off of Pepsi)

        Umm yeah, I got that; I'd have thought it was obvious what the OP and I were talking about, guess not. But because there is both a beverage and a restaurant chain I was curious, and thought I'd share the results of my investigation.

  A few years ago I stumbled onto this website offering numerous organigrams, showing links in governing by networks, information war, religious affiliations [utangente.free.fr], and a tentative of the world government [utangente.free.fr]. Mostly in english and in french, those organigrams are far from perfect and probably not 100% accurate, but still succeed in growing our awareness to the spheres of social power influences on our planet.
